About the Evening

The session will be hosted by one of our very own parents, Amélie Lardoux (Mum of Margaux (Y6), Rosalie (Y4) and Séraphine (Y1)), and aims to:

• Explore the effects of smartphones on children

• Share the results of the parent and carer survey

• Discuss possible alternatives to smartphones

• Introduce the Smartphone Free Childhood network to our community

• Hear real-life experiences and lessons from fellow parents

Mr. Schumm will open the evening with the school’s perspective and experiences on this important topic.

We will also have a panel of St Stephen’s parents who have children at both primary and secondary schools. They’ll share their personal experiences and practical tips for navigating smartphone use as children grow older.

It promises to be an open, insightful, and supportive discussion — we hope you can join us!
